Meet the Director:
Mackenzie Renfro is an international runway model, mother agency director, and the visionary founder of the SWFL Model Academy & Management. Standing six feet tall, Mackenzie’s commanding presence and striking features naturally drew her to the fashion industry at a young age. By age 21, she stepped onto the runway and unlocked a profound calling. Since then, she has walked in over a hundred shows and for more than 300 designers, establishing a powerful bi-seasonal presence at New York Fashion Week with premier platforms like Runway 7.
Mackenzie’s journey, however, is defined by far more than the glamour of the stage. As a survivor of childhood and domestic trauma, she chose early in life to navigate the world independently, transmuting her personal adversities into a driving force for empowerment and leadership. Her career didn't just resume after becoming a mother; it exploded, fueled by a desire to build a lasting legacy for her daughter and her community.
A true chameleon in front of the camera, Mackenzie draws from her rich, diverse background to effortlessly decode and execute a designer’s vision. Having conquered the high-stress environments of the international fashion scene, Mackenzie founded the SWFL Model Academy to bring elite industry resources, technical training, and executive mentorship directly to her hometown in Southwest Florida. As an intentional mentor and mother agent, she provides aspiring talent with the exact roadmap, confidence, and protection she needed when she was growing up, proving to the next generation that your history never dictates your destiny.
